I've never been able to absorb so much material so fast and see such an improvement in my playing as a result of it. It's really surprising how fast you can learn when you're being taught the right way. The guide is called Jamorama and you can download the online guitar lessons from their site to learn how to play guitar yourself. You can also order DVDs and books from them to learn how to play guitar instead of downloading their online guitar lessons if you choose to - I just downloaded mine and can also download tabs and sheet music online while I'm learning from this program.
